The neutron physics group at Tulane University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position to participate in two cold neutron beam experiments: BL3, a next generation beam neutron lifetime experiment, now under construction; and parity-violating neutron spin rotation in liquid helium. Both experiments will run at the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The position is based at Tulane, but will be located primarily at the experimental integration site at Indiana University (Bloomington) and will involve travel to the NCNR.

The Postodoctoral Fellow is required to manage data projects in the Tulane Center for Clinical Neurosciences. The Tulane University Economics Department and the Murphy Institute of Political Economy invite applications for a postdoctoral position to begin in fall 2023. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics by fall 2023. We are seeking individuals whose research areas are in health policy or health economics. The postdoctoral fellow would be supervised by a Tulane faculty member. The successful candidate will teach one course at the undergraduate level annually and is expected to participate actively in research, seminars and other activities at the Economics Department and the Murphy Institute. A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Influenza and Innate Immunity Laboratory to study influenza infection and host innate immune defense. The study will focus on the characterization of the novel host factors identified by our previous work (Li et al., Immunity 2011; Wang et al., Nature Communications, 2017; Fu et al., JEM, 2017) and the impacts of these factors on influenza A virus infection. A background in lung biology and pathology, respiratory pathogens, genetically modified mice and animal models, proteomics, or innate immunity is a plus.

The mission of the Coalition is to support transformative change in schools as they implement and sustain healing-centered, trauma-informed multi tiered systems of support to improve the psychological, behavioral, and educational outcomes of youth exposed to trauma and to prevent new exposure in schools.
