Our lab is interested in elucidating molecular mechanisms that control transcriptional programs in neuronal cells with the aim of preventing/reversing neurodegeneration. Various projects are available focusing on the role of RNA-binding proteins and non-coding RNAs in retinal development, aging and disease.
The successful candidate will implement a combination of approaches, including high-throughput sequencing, functional genomics screening, biochemistry, imaging, and electrophysiology.
Postdoctoral researchers will find numerous opportunities for advancing their careers and receiving mentorship as they implement innovative technologies at the intersect of RNA biology, genomics, and neuroscience.
