This Joint Research Unit (UMR7586), under the direction of Mr. Olivier BIQUARD, (the director) and Mrs. Claire DEBORD (the deputy director) has nearly 400 members (200 permanent researchers and teacher-researchers and 200 non-permanent members). It is attached to 3 supervisory authorities: – CNRS; – Sorbonne University; – Paris Cité University and is located on 2 distant Parisian campuses: – Jussieu Campus (Sorbonne University, 75005); – Paris Cité University Campus (Sophie Germain Building, 75013) Within the IT department of the IMJ-PRG composed of two people: – IT Manager and Security Correspondent Information Systems (CSSI) ;- Infrastructure Manager. The apprentice will be responsible for reviewing and strengthening the security of our Information System (IS) on three aspects: Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability. First, he will have to carry out a security audit to evaluate the measures already in place. This audit will aim to identify potential sources of attacks in order to study their mechanisms and thus prevent their exploitation. Then, thanks to the audit report, the apprentice will have to establish an action plan (investigation, crisis management, remediation) in order to anticipate the exploitation of the IS’s weak points. The apprentice will have to propose technical solutions to protect the IS against these attacks by making them less vulnerable. These directives must be based on European, national and internal standards and regulations. Finally, the apprentice will have to implement these improvements in order to strengthen the cybersecurity of the services used within the laboratory. The apprentice will be expected to ensure continuous technological monitoring of current threats and respond to new vulnerabilities affecting the operation of the information system and the protection of sensitive laboratory data. To achieve these ends, the apprentice will be granted a high level of autonomy and will have carte blanche to carry out projects in line with their training in order to find improvement solutions and be proactive.
