About Fully Funded PhD in Psychology

Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey, provides a fully funded PhD in Psychology as well as an M.S. degree. All PhD students in Psychology take part in scientific research and the discovery process. Students begin the program by choosing one of four specializations: behavioral and systems neuroscience, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, and social psychology.

Eligibility Criteria

Earned master’s degree prior to entering the PhD.
You are expected to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and subject-specific GPA of 3.5 or above.
English language proficiency requirements (non-native English speakers)

PhD Funding Coverage

All admitted Ph.D. students are guaranteed five years of financing (four years for those with a Master’s degree), as long as they maintain satisfactory academic status. Financial help covers tuition and offers a stipend or pay for ten months. Summer financing is also available.
