Master’s Funding Coverage,

Early Action Program for MPH applicants only:

The Early Action program for the Master of Public Health (MPH) guarantees applicants who submit their completed application by December 1, an admission decision on or about February 15. In addition to their admission status, applicants will be informed about any merit scholarship award offers. All decision notifications will be sent via email.

Early Action is non-binding, non-restrictive. Students choosing to apply by the Early Action deadline need to submit their application materials earlier in the process but will receive an admission decision sooner than Regular Decision applicants.

Scholarships continue to be awarded as they are available after the Early Action deadline.

All applicants who complete their SOPHAS application by midnight (EST) on the priority deadline of December 1 and that are admitted to the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, will be considered for first-round, school-wide scholarships. Applications must be completed and verified with all required supporting documentation received by December 1. Scholarships are then awarded on a rolling basis after this first round.

The University, and other units, may also offer several scholarships and fellowships which may require separate applications. Below are some potential scholarship opportunities, primarily for SPH graduate/professional students.
