About Master’s Program
The Department of English at the University of Louisville proudly offers a Master’s degree in English. Our M.A. program offers advanced training in literary studies, with options for coursework in creative writing, rhetoric and composition, and professional writing. This program prepares our students to go on to a Ph.D. program in literary studies, rhetoric and composition, creative writing, cultural studies, or related fields. Completing our program will also prepare you for any career in writing, publishing, research, business, education, or non-profits.
