PhD Program Degree Eligibility with GPA,
No, there is no need to convert it. Simply report what your GPA is as a number or letter gradeif the program you are applying to requires the test, results must be submitted. The Graduate School receives official scores electronically directly from ETS, as long as you enter the school code 3094.
PhD Funding Coverage,
Students in our program are guaranteed a competitive package of six years of academic year funding and four summers of financial support with full tuition remission and health and dental insurance coverage.
Students are eligible for a dissertation fellowship during the fifth or sixth year. Additional summer funding is provided while they prepare for their preliminary exam, and a stipend for research travel is available during their dissertation fellowship year. Students are also guaranteed funding each year for conference travel or other research needs.
Students may choose to participate in a year-long teaching exchange with the Université de Bourgogne (Dijon) or the Université de Lyon 2-Louis Lumière.
Application Requirement,
Personal statement, 3 letters of recommendation, transcripts, and writing sample (in French – approximately 15 pages). Applications should be completed in English, except for the writing sample. GRE is not required. Foreign applicants from countries without English as the primary language must show their proficiency in English via the TOEFL exam.
Along with the application, international applicants must provide the Graduate School with original documents or official certified copies indicating the nature and scope of their educational program.

Application Fee,
A non-refundable fee of $75 is charged for processing each application received by the Graduate School. This fee must be paid when the application is submitted. An application will not be processed unless the fee is paid.
