About Master’s Program,

As business processes move toward automation, employers need accounting professionals with curious minds who can lead companies into the future. In Iowa’s in-person MAc program, you’ll learn to embrace ambiguity, ask probing questions, and leverage new technology. Build your critical thinking muscle while earning the additional semester hours you need to take the CPA exam in our two-year program.

Choose one of four unique tracks to add focus to your degree: Financial Accounting/Auditing, Managerial Accounting, Business Analytics, or Tax.

Master’s Program Degree Eligibility with GPA,

Bachelor’s degree

Earned from a regionally accredited college/university or equivalent from another country. We accept students from all undergraduate majors; an accounting degree is not required.

GPA

3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale or foreign equivalent.

GMAT

The GMAT is not required for admission nor at any point during the program, but can strengthen your application for admission and scholarship eligibility. If you decide to include a GMAT score, you’ll have the option to upload it in the online application.

English proficiency: TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo

International candidates only. Minimum scores are 100 iBT, 7.0 IELTS (no subscore <6.0), and Duolingo 120+.

Master’s Funding Coverage,

The MAc program has a limited number of scholarship aid packages available for high merit students admitted to the program.

Apply by the priority deadline of December 15 to be eligible for one of the scholarship awards. No additional scholarship application is necessary. Later applicants will be considered for scholarships if funds are available.

The MAc program does not offer full tuition scholarships. All applicants must be prepared to fully self-fund their program.
