About PhD Program,
Our world needs effective solutions to today’s complex and interconnected challenges — from climate change and conflict to inequality and democratic backsliding. And we need a broad understanding of human dignity that considers the needs of each person and the whole person — one that considers how key systems and structures shape people’s daily lives and affect their ability to reach their potential.
Our two-year master of global affairs degree provides rigorous professional training, close engagement with policymakers, multi-disciplinary faculty and a network of students from around the world, alongside extended fieldwork with global partners working to address global challenges.
At the Keough School of Global Affairs, students find community and inspiration among an extraordinary group of scholars, practitioners and change agents whose work responds to the world’s most pressing challenges with hope.
Our current students and alumni represent more than 80 countries and bring with them a wealth of professional experience in international development, education, peacebuilding, environmental conservation, human rights, humanitarian assistance, journalism and other fields.
