About Master’s Program,
The School Psychology Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha embraces a scientist-practitioner model of school psychology training. The program emphasizes a problem-solving approach to service delivery including direct intervention and consultation at the individual, family, and system levels with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.
The graduate program strongly emphasizes the preparation of psychologists for comprehensive and effective delivery of psychological services in schools.

Master’s Program Degree Eligibility with GPA,
All applications for graduate admission at UNO start online at apply.unomaha.edu. UNO requires every applicant to have the following as a foundation, regardless of the academic program to which they are applying:
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
- Transcripts from all previously attended institutions
- 0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale (applicants with a 2.7 GPA can be considered for provisional admission)
- Proof of English language proficiency (for those whose language of nurture is not English)
- Minimal application fee

NASP scholarships
The NASP-ERT Minority Scholarship Program (NASP-ERT MSP) supports the graduate training of minority students pursuing careers in school psychology. The program seeks to lower financial barriers to training and to highlight the accomplishments of promising future professionals. The Program annually awards scholarships of $5,000 each to selected scholars.
