If you receive financial support from UNC Kenan-Flagler or the University, you will be recommended for a waiver of out-of-state tuition and eligible for supplemental health insurance. The School covers health insurance premiums as part of our financial support.
Eligible out-of-state PhD students may receive both a tuition remission award that reduces tuition to the in-state rate as well as an in-state tuition award.
