About Fully Funded PhD in Crop Sciences
The University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois, offers a fully financed PhD in Crop Sciences. The graduate program offers numerous research fields where you can follow your interests, ranging from bioinformatics to plant breeding.
Tuition and service costs are waived for students enrolled in an on-campus degree program in the Department of Crop Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria
- Earned master’s degree prior to entering the PhD.
- You are expected to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and subject-specific GPA of 3.5 or above.

- Letter of nomination from a faculty in the Department of Crop Sciences.
