Eligibility Criteria 

  • Earned master’s degree prior to entering the PhD.
  • You are expected to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and subject-specific GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • English language proficiency requirements (non-native English speakers)

PhD Funding Coverage

A competitive fellowship, a full-tuition scholarship, and health insurance coverage for five years are included in the funding. At the time of admission, both international students and US citizens are automatically considered for scholarships. As part of their academic program, all doctoral candidates teach certain semesters.
