PhD Program Degree Eligibility with GPA,
- Applicants complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association; or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned. PhD Funding Coverage,
Michigan Ross PhD students receive five years of full funding, including tuition waiver, health insurance, and a generous stipend package that combines both fellowship funding and a graduate assistantship.
Michigan Ross provides full funding to doctoral students, which includes five years of full tuition, health insurance, and a generous stipend package that combines both fellowship funding and a graduate assistantship. An additional application for financial aid is not required.
Assistantships, the centerpiece of the Michigan Ross mentorship philosophy, are provided year-round as a source of financial assistance. Students spend three-and-a-half years as a research assistant, and at least one term as a graduate instructor – typically in their third year.
