About Fully Funded PhD in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics

Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, provides a fully funded PhD program in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics (BIG). The BIG program provides multidisciplinary PhD training with the goal of developing world-class researchers in these fields. The majority of our students have a solid mathematical background as well as extensive experience in molecular biology and genetics.

Eligibility Criteria

Earned master’s degree prior to entering the PhD.
You are expected to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and subject-specific GPA of 3.5 or above.
English language proficiency requirements (non-native English speakers)

PhD Funding Coverage

While enrolled and making good progress toward the Ph.D. degree, all students receive full tuition and stipend assistance. The stipend support for the 2021-2022 academic year is $42,660, or $3,555 per month.
