About Fully Funded PhD in Oceanography
The Scripps Institute of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego, offers a fully funded PhD in Oceanography. The PhD program at Scripps Institution of Oceanography is divided into three academic programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Earned master’s degree prior to entering the PhD.
- You are expected to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and subject-specific GPA of 3.5 or above.
- English language proficiency requirements (non-native English speakers)
PhD Funding Coverage
All Scripps Institution of Oceanography PhD Program applicants are considered for financial assistance in the form of fellowships, scholarships, and research assistantships. Scripps usually provides a five-year financial guarantee that includes a stipend/salary, tuition, and nonresident supplementary tuition. Tuition and fees are covered, as is a yearly stipend of $32,000.
